Question: Wow! Your stock looks awesome! How do I get some? Answer: Well, thanks for asking. You can now order on this website, by heading to the 'Products' menu, and choosing the items and quantities you require. To save on shipping costs, you may want to consider teaming up with a friend. Delivery charges for Victoria are shown below. Pick up is available from Mt Martha on the Mornington Peninsula. We also do a free delivery run each month to the West Gippsland area (around the 3rd/4th week). Get in touch with us to confirm the discount code to get free delivery for this monthly delivery run.
**For free pick up orders, please choose the 'Pick up' option at checkout, and we'll be in touch when the order is ready.
Q: When do I get the yummy goodies? A: We keep our stock as fresh as possible, and so we purchase from our supplier a few times each month, which coincides with 3 markets that we attend in Gippsland. Since we have begun to sell online, we have most products available all year round, but occasionally we may be out of stock of a particular product. Once we receive an order, we aim to have it shipped within 1-3 days.
Q: What do you ship the yummy nut products in? A: We now supply our nut products in a brown paper bag, or a plastic bio-degradable bag. This means we only pack the product after we receive your order, so it is freshly packed for you. We prefer to use the plastic bio-degradable bags when sending products via courier as they hold the products better when handled by various courier drivers. Paper bags are generally used for local deliveries/pickups for when we deliver orders ourselves. We use a clean aluminium scoop for each different product. Once you receive the order, you should pack it as suggested below...
Q: What about storage if I am ordering once a month then, kind sir/madam? A: Well, nuts, dried fruits etc, are best stored in an airtight container in the cupboard (glass is best). You can also store them in the fridge for extra freshness (also in airtight container). The best before date on most items is up to 12 months if stored correctly, but they can generally stay nice and tasty up to 3-6 months (if stored correctly). Some items can also be kept in the freezer.
Q: Are there delivery charges for our orders? A: You can pick up for free in Warragul or Mt Martha. Allow up to a week for Warragul pickups. Otherwise delivery charges for Victoria are below:
$9 flat rate for orders up to $99
$8 for orders $100 to $149
FREE delivery (Victoria) for orders $150 and over
FREE pickup from Mt Martha - choose the 'Pick up' option at checkout, and we'll contact you when it is ready.
Interstate orders: $10 flat rate as long as orders are $100 or more, otherwise higher charges apply
*Feel free to collect orders from friends/family to put them together to save on the delivery.*
Q: Do you have a monthly email list, Nut people? A: Yes we do! We send out an email once a month to a growing database of clients, as a reminder for monthly orders, and also details on upcoming markets, and the occasional recipe!
You can add your email address to our monthly email at the 'Newsletter' section below...
Q: Do you have a nutty shop? A: Not yet, but it is something we may look at in the future. Currently we store our products in Mt Martha, where we also create our popular 'Humpercrunch' muesli. For Mt Martha and other local customers, choose 'Local Delivery' when ordering, or 'Pick up'.
